The event will run for 90 minutes from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, ending with 30 minutes of question time.    

Bryce Gaton will explain the basics of electric vehicle technologies and the gamut of electric transport options, along with their charging needs. He will show how they enhance (and not ‘ruin’) the long weekend, using examples from his long experience of driving battery electric vehicles. He will then touch on the coming emissions and fuel economy standards - and how in the near future these might revolutionise EV buying choice in Australia.

The talk finishes with a review of the current (and some soon to come) Australian options for buying new and second-hand battery electric vehicles and reliable sources of information.
