Looking after waterways information session (Mitcham)

  • Lenzerheide Meeting Room, Mitcham Memorial Library 154 Belair Road Hawthorn, SA, 5062 Australia (map)

Healthy waterways provide important habitat for native plants and animals, clean water naturally, and move stormwater out to sea. There are lots of ways that we can all help to look after our waterways, no matter where we live.

In this FREE session, Green Adelaide's Senior Water Projects Officer will talk about the importance of healthy waterways, how to identify problems, what to plant and what to pull out, and what your responsibilities are as a property owner.

All participants will receive a copy of our Looking After Waterways property owner’s guide and a native seedling to take home.

Light refreshments will be provided. If you have particular dietary needs, please bring your own snack.
